Guidelines for Participation in the UOG Fourth Convocation 2016 Scheduled to be Held on Thursday 18 February 2016

Rehearsal of the Convocation will be held on Wednesday 17 February 2016

A-   Rehearsal Day

Pick and drop service will be provided from Gujrat City to convocation venue for rehearsal day as well as for Convocation.

The Graduates are required to attend the Rehearsal and collect following items from Hafiz Hayat Campus prior to the Rehearsal. Busses will leave from Fawara Chowk, Gujrat City to Hafiz Hayat Campus at 8:00 am and 8:15 am respectively.

  1. Arrive at by 8:30 am at Hafiz Hayat Campus and Collect Gown, cap, and Hood on Rent [Rs 1000/- as Refundable Security and Rs 250/- as rent] alongwith Convocation Admit Cards and Degree Folders and degree issuance form from the following locations:
  2. Venue – 01 B/CSIT Block – Room Number B-05/Block Podium  All Graduates of  Faculty of CSIT and Faculty of Management Sciences (All Degree Programmes)
  3. Venue – 02 E Block Room Number E-02/Block Podium  All Graduates of Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Engineering, SADA, Faculty of Social Sciences. (All Degree Programmes)
  4. Venue – 03 BS Block Room Number BS-05/ Block Podium  All Graduates of Faculty of Science, (All Degree
  5. Be Seated in Convocation Pindal in front of Main Library Building by 10:30 a. m.
  6. Participate in the rehearsal according to the instructions.

Any one who is not registered for the convocation, does not attend the Rehearsal, not wearing gown, hood and cap, do not posses original CNIC and Admit Card or arrives late will not be allowed to attend the Convocation Ceremony.

B-    Convocation Day

Busses will leave from Fawara Chowk, Gujrat City to Hafiz Hayat Campus at 8:00 am and 15:00 am respectively.

  1. Arrive at 08:30 a. m. on Convocation Day properly dressed (wearing gown, cap, hood and carrying degree folders, Original CNIC, and Convocation Admit Card) at Hafiz Hayat Campus and be seated in Convocation Pindal by 9:00 a.m.
  2. Attend the Convocation in graceful manner and attend the Lunch.
  3. A Lunch will be served in the honour of registered graduates on Thursday, February 18, 2016 after the Convocation.
  4. May collect your degrees from the following locations by submitting dully filled “Degree Receiving Form” along with original Convocation Admit Cards and copy of the Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
  5. Venue – 01 First Floor – Examinations Block All Graduates of Faculty Science, SADA, Faculty of CSIT and Faculty of Engineering and Technology. (All Degree Programmes)
  6. Venue – 02 Second Floor – Examinations Block All Graduates of Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Management Sciences (Associate Degree in Accounting and Finance, HRM and BBA Degree Programmes only)
  7. Venue – 03 Student Services Centre All Graduates of Faculty of Social Science, , Faculty of Management Sciences (Master of Commerce, MBA 1.5 and MBA 3.5)
